ABOUT US

#WEARE the Puerto Rican Student Association, the first Latinx student organization at Penn State University.

We are a group of proud Boricuas hoping to spread the Puerto Rican fever at Penn State. No matter where we go, we show our pride in every aspect.

We welcome everyone to join our club to represent Puerto Rico. We pride ourselves on being an accepting community at Penn State and a strong supporter of the Latinx community.

ABOUT
What We do

WHAT  WE  DO

From THON, to tailgates, and collaborations with other Latinx orgs on campus... qué no hacemos?

THON

WHY WE THON

Since 1977, THON has raised over $180 million for Four Diamonds at Penn State Children’s Hospital, providing comprehensive care for 4,000 families and fund critical research to take our fight beyond central Pennsylvania and spread hope around the world. We work year-round to provide both financial and emotional support for our families, ensuring that they never have to face cancer alone.

The PRSA began its involvement in THON in 2018. The following year, the organization was able to raise nearly $4,000 with help from its members and family members.
